Translating Process Into Public Form - A TouchDesigner Workshop with Zoh & Bunyan
A hands-on TouchDesigner workshop and live demo session at the studio — going deeper into the files, the failures, and the process behind interactive art.
Time & Location
27 Jun 2026, 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Fosite, 6th Floor, 317, 100 Feet Rd, Binnamangala, Stage 1, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560038, India
About the Event
We're back at it. After our first TouchDesigner deep-dive sold out the room and left people asking for more screen time and more file access, we're doing a second edition; bigger format, two artists, and an actual ticket this time, because the kind of access we're giving you isn't really "free workshop" territory anymore.
This is a TD Show & Tell: less lecture, more open laptop. We're pairing Zoh (@notreallyzoh) — Creative Technologist, VJ, and member of the new media collective 1/0, back for round two — with Bangalore-based multidisciplinary artist Bunyan (@bongyunng), a creative technologist who works at the intersection of digital architecture and physical space. Blending human-centered design with immersive technology, Bunyan transforms complex data into real-time, visceral environments — work built on the idea that the virtual shouldn't stay trapped behind a screen, but should reach into physical reality and turn invisible networks into something you can actually stand inside.
What's on the table:
Bunyan will walk through how a project like that actually gets built; the brainstorming, the dead ends, the process of layering digital systems onto physical objects, and how to find your own niche inside a tool as open-ended as TouchDesigner. He'll break down Fork, an interactive game built across TouchDesigner and a companion web app.
Zoh returns with a technical session on vibe-noding — TouchDesigner's node-based take on rapid, intuitive build flows — plus a breakdown of TD-to-Unreal Engine integration and a project showcase pulling from his more recent installation work.
The two come together for the night's centerpiece: a collaborative interactive mapped table, jointly built and presented; think real-time projection-mapped surface tracking and responding to whatever's placed on it. The night winds down from there into open Q&A and hands-on time, with all demos staying live so you can keep poking at things after the formal sessions end.
Key Topics We'll Cover:
Process and ideation — how an idea about layering physical and digital space becomes an actual build, not just a concept.
Technical integration — bridging TouchDesigner with web apps, Unreal Engine, and real-time mapped surfaces.
Node-based rapid prototyping — building fast and intuitively inside TouchDesigner's patch system.
Whether you're a creative coder, a spatial designer, or someone who just wants to see how two artists build entirely different things inside the same tool, this one's for you. Extremely limited capacity. A must attend for all TouchDesigner beginners and vets alike. Book your slot now!
